You can enter it through the town of Guise, now famous for its Familist\u00e8re built by Godin (you know the stoves\u2026) and the Ch\u00e2teau des Ducs de Guise, which you must have heard of. Ideal territory for cycling, you can take the EuroVelo3 also called Scandib\u00e9rique to Hirson and the Blangy waterfall then discover the fortified churches. Built or fortified in the 16th century, their orange colored bricks contrast with the green of Thi\u00e9rache. Its bocage landscape is dotted with hedges and orchards that you can enjoy walking all the way to Parfondeval, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France.
